I began this article because I was curious what AI browsers would identify as vendors offering payment processors. That answer is in the first line of my comparison. I was surprised that by those answers. First, you have to keep in mind there are more payment processors out there that what I am comparing below in my PDF.
For example, check out the iresults that Google search generated with their AI. Many of those same results are in my PDF but a few are not since I didn’t not include Goole search results.
Secondly, if you focus on our AI browsers, which I used to make the PDF, instead of relying 100% on Google, you begin to see that a different pulse of what is available on the internet. Will all these AI results be homogenized, or identical, in the future? Time will tell us.

NOTES:
(0) This is not a payment processor. It connects with PayPal or Stripe account bit it does sell digital downloads.
(1) Check vendor website to view complete details and plans available. Most transaction and percentage fees vary depending on if card is keyed, online, in person, or ACH is used. The processing % per transaction is also called interchange fee. Transaction price and/or % increases with additional features.
(2) Depends on card used and geographic location. Generally fees are higher.
(3) The link or code provided by vendor, which is used to create button on your website, displays a pop up window where your website visitor submits payment info directly to vendor. Or, the link /code provided opens a page on vendor website showing your product/service.
(4) Yes but done on a separate interface, their app, called “digital downloads”.
(5) You can use different payment processor to accept payments. For example, process payment using paypal or stripe.
(6) Your website may need to have a “member” only section. Check out the software on vibralogix.com, which is software purchase - you own it.
(7) Most often this is device you pay extra to receive. The device plugs into your smart phone of tablet using your online account with the payment processor.
(8) A unique device that is not a smart phone.
(9) Available using EasyDigitalDownloads.com that is WordPress only websites. That annual cost starts at $199.00.
(10) Windows Only PC or Surface, versions 7, 8 and 10 when used with the Chrome and Firefox browser v50+ or Edge browser v15+ (Windows 10 OS build 15063+).
Processing payments is vital to the success of your online business and website development.
While features needed depend on the products and services you offer, more and more website owners are looking to sell digital downloads. This includes products like a course, a subscription and memberships.
There are several variables involved and hopefully the comparison being offered on this page will help you gain a bigger perspective when considering the optimal payment processing vendor to use on your website.
For example, if you are selling a download as a PDF, will the vendor insert a stamp on each PDF with a unique ID, such as the buyer's name? This benefits your business to reduce people just reporting your content, aka copyright infringement.
My free PDF will help you resolve the question around which payment processing vendor fits your specific needs at the best price point.
Websites can use different methods to collect a payment.
The poplar payment processing vendors in my free PDF use the highest encryption available to protect the buyer's financial information.
As well, website owners and admins do not see the card details of any transactions. This means the website buyer identity and card are protected at all times.
But another way of using several of these payment processing vendors is invoicing.
For example, you can create your own unique design and invoke and then send it to an email address to collect the payment. When payment is made by the buyer is done so using the payment processor. This makes it easy for seller and buyer to quickly complete a transaction.
My free PDF will help you determine which services offer this invoicing feature.
According to Forbes, the average online card payment is $112.00 and that 33% of businesses recently surveyed feel credit card fraud is a big issue for their business but more than 80% of those respondents say they feel their payment processors are secure.
The processing takes place at a website or a POS (point Of Sale) at a retail outlet, or whenever a card is swiped using a smart phone or tabelt.
The ease of using a payment processor increases over time. As a small business owner you can set up shop at a community event and use your smart phone to accpet cards and checks.
The transaction fees are always lower when you have the physical card versus entering the card information on a website page or phone app.
On the Stripe website it list these common occurrences for fraud arising from website transactions.
Looking for the best payment processing service can be overwhelming.
Sometimes we are led astray in pour choices by those spending the most advertising money.
I like PayHip for digital products. Its ver affordable and the app is robust.
After using PayPal for many years I have become disgruntled since a buyer has to have a PayPal account to pay for my service or product.
I also favor SquareUp since the code they provide, on a per-product basis, I can use to easily make a button on a website. When the website visitors clicks that button a new window is opened where the buyer can easily enter their payment info. This quick acting method facilitates spontaneous purchases.
